Welcome to ChicagoDawgs!

Dear fellow UGA friend, Welcome to ChicagoDawgs.com, the official site for the Chicago chapter of the UGA Alumni Association. We're glad you found us. We all know “It's great to be a Georgia Bulldog!” While we can not drive to Athens on a Game Day, the uniqueness of being a Bulldog in Chicago is special. Before we even meet, we share a bond that is different from most of the people around us. I hope you will join me in demonstrating our UGA school spirit by joining the UGA Alumni Association, and becoming an active part in the ChicagoDawgs chapter.

Also, big thanks to Carrie Temkin for organizing :)

That's all for now...hope to see you all this week or next!

UGA Starts #1 In 2008 Preseason Rankings

Now that college football's most talented juniors (and third-year sophomores) have answered that weightiest of questions -- Should I Stay or Should I Go? -- we have a clearer sense of the national pecking order heading into 2008.

Ohio State fans, for instance, received a much-needed infusion of good news with the announcements that stars James Laurinaitis and Malcolm Jenkins (among others) are returning for their senior seasons, meaning the Buckeyes will return a staggering 39 of the 44 players on their season-ending two deep.
